The animal behind the card

Although it belongs to the order Carnivora, fruit, especially figs, forms much of its diet. It also takes eggs, insects, small vertebrates, and occasionally descends to the ground or enters water.

Scent glands produce a compound often compared to hot popcorn, leaving a recognizable trail on branches. By carrying and depositing large seeds, the binturong contributes to forest regeneration.
