Clouded Leopard Cub
Neofelis nebulosaYellow
A clouded leopard cub begins life in a secluded den hidden within dense forest. Born blind and completely dependent on its mother, it already carries the large cloud-shaped markings that will later break up its outline among leaves, bark, and shifting light.

The animal behind the card
Once its eyes open, the den becomes its first climbing ground. The cub balances on roots, grips low branches, and develops its broad paws, long tail, and flexible hind legs through play. Milk gradually gives way to pieces of meat while stalking, pouncing, and careful foot placement are learned by watching its mother.
Until it can live independently, the young cat relies on both maternal protection and connected forest cover. Every safe branch expands its world, while roads and cleared gaps make the first explorations of a small, inexperienced predator far more dangerous.
