Bombay Cat
Felis catusYellow
The Bombay is a domestic cat with a short, glossy black coat. Gold-to-copper eyes and a muscular body create the impression of a miniature panther. Despite the name, the breed was developed in the United States from Burmese and American Shorthair cats.

The animal behind the card
Its uniform coat highlights rounded features and a close-lying, satin-like texture. Beneath this elegant appearance is a playful animal often strongly attached to its human companions. It readily seeks company and comfortable resting places.
Like other domestic cats, it expresses hunting behaviour through play and exploration. Varied activities and an enriched environment help satisfy those instincts. The Bombay combines a striking appearance with an entirely domestic way of life.
